Mary Madeline Hofstetter Baker (1913 - 1995) Pastel winter scene on paper signed lower right, measures (10.5 x 8) w/ frame (16 x 13) Mary Madeline Hofstetter was the daughter of the artist William Alfred Hofstetter (1884-1970) and Frances Marie McKeone Hofstetter (1884-1950) Mary Hofstetter married the artist Raymond Nelson Baker (1913-1991) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1940. Mary Hofstetter Baker and her husband Raymond Nelson Baker were professional artists. They lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Pleasant Mills, Hammonton, New Jersey. One painting by Mary Hofstetter Baker is in the collection of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.
