For the first time in KooKoo, meet the artist Yardan Chen (1992) who created an ongoing series of "war works", the works were published as a book documenting the events of October 7th until the end of the war and the return of all the abductees. The future book received funding and the works are being created as they are sold.

In this sale - an opportunity for 6 original works from the book.

Born in 1992, grew up in north of Israel.

Currently lives and paints in Tel Aviv.
Chen graduated from Shenkar College of Art & design, in the multidisciplinary arts department.
In her works, Chen paints her immediate vicinity - landscapes, people and objects.
These themes are only background, almost an excuse for the disruption she’s seeking through them. That disruption
is created when memories and feelings intrude the clear observation, and a new chaotic, colorful, questioning space
is formed.
Chen works mainly with oil, acrylics and pastels.
