Ha’Och, published by Tomchei Temimim of Lubavitch for the Achei Temimim Youth Organization that were in schools throughout Russia. It was a weekly journal for children in Hebrew and Yiddish which contained Chassidic stories, biographies, poems and riddles. Of historical importance are the lists of hundreds of names of children from various towns who were members. Included are: Chana Mushka and Sheindel Schneerson (issues 6 and 19). In issue 26 appear the three Schneerson boys of Yekaterinoslav, Yisroel Aryeh Leib, Dov Ber and Menachem Mendel (later the Lubavitcher Rebbe who was then a child of ten). This may be the first mention of the Rebbe in a Lubavitch publication. Also contains valuable information concerning the network of schools, educational requirements, sources of food and support for the students, the times that the Rebbe speaks especially for them and other interesting details.
In the front cover there is a dedication awarding the sefer to Pinchos Teitz of Poltava (later the renowned R. Pinchos Teitz of Elizabeth NJ) as a prize.
