Specifications: 37 cm. Part 1: (Mada-Zmanim). [9], 327, [2] leaves of sketches for the halachahs of Shabbat, sukkah and kiddush hachodesh, [4] leaves.

Part 2: (Nashim, Kedushah) [2], 227, [4] leaves.

Part 3: (Hafla'ah-Taharah). [1] 328, [1] leaf sketches for the halachahs of hybrids, [9] leaves.

Part 4: (Nezikin-Shoftim). [1] 309, [13] leaves. With sketches in their places.

Background: Important especially proofread edition of the Rambam, by which subsequent editions were printed. This edition is also called 'michtav' ['מכתב'] edition due to the indication of the year of printing on the title pages. With an interesting introduction by the proofreader regarding comparison of texts. With the illustrated title page at the beginning of the first part. Dedication in Portuguese written by the printer Emanuel Attias (in the first part).

Condition: Very fine. Original leather bindings (some of the closures were restored, some are lacking).
