Levush on the entire Orach Chaim section of the Shulchan Aruch. Including: Levush HaTechelet, Levush HaChor, Levush Ateret Zahav, Levush HaButz V'Ha'Argaman and Levush Ir Shushan, by Rabbi Mordechai Yaffe. Venice, 1620. Four volumes.

Specifications: 201 [2]: 148 [2]: 87: 162 [2]. Approximately 35 cm. Four title pages.

Background: Early and magnificent edition of the Levush which was printed a few years after the author's passing. This edition was printed under Rabbi Yehudah Aryeh of Modena's supervision. In the introduction he writes that he marked the customs not practiced in Spain and Italy inside a border, even thought the author mentioned them as they were practiced in Germany without any specific indication.

Unique Features: Several scholarly glosses in early Italian handwriting appear on the book's pages. Ownership signatures. The glosses are slightly cut-off.

Condition: Moderate-fine. Stains. Worming holes. Professional completions of margins on several leaves. New semi-leather bindings.
