Великий князь Константин Константинович Романов (1858–1915) — генерал-адъютант, генерал от инфантерии, генерал-инспектор Военно-учебных заведений, президент Императорской Санкт-Петербургской академии наук, поэт, переводчик и драматург. Карл Карлович Булла (1855-1929) — владелец фотоателье (с 1875 г.) в Санкт-Петербурге, вошедший в историю как «отец российского фоторепортажа». С 1897 года фотографии Карла Буллы стали печататься в массовом и популярном журнале «Нива». С этого времени его имя стало известно по всей Российской империи.
