Bound with Halachot Ketanot. Krakow, 1897. 


'זה הספר שאלות ותשובות בשמים ראש, קניתי מהוני לכבוד צורי וקורני ביומא דהילולא של הרב הצדיק הקדוש אבד"ק ליסקא.. בעד 1800 צ'. שלמה זלמן עהרנרייך'. 

The book Besamim Rosh by the Gaon Rabbi Yitchak Dee of Vilna with the Kisse Deharana elucidation by the Gaon Rabbi Shaul ben Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Berlin. Second edition published by Rabbi Yosef Lezer of Torno in Krakow at the important press of the partners Rabbi Yosef Fischer and Rabbi Shaul Deutscher in 1881. 


Additional important ownership notations of the Heiliger Shamloyer Rov and his holy sons. 


In is interesting to note that on the flyleaf, the son Rabbi Chaim Ehrenreich wrote 'זה הספר הקדוש שייך לאאמו"ר הרה"ק אבד"פה' and above it, the grandson Rabbi Avraham Yuda Foigel of Siget added a notation quoting from Shut Parashat Mordechai (Boneht) about the controversy over the book.

The book is bound with Halachot Ketanot. Rabbi Yosef Fischer Press, Krakow, 1897. 

The book Halachot Ketanot by the Mahari Hagiz, the two responsa sections. Among them, Leket Hakemach by Rabbi Moshe Hagiz. 

The first two leaves are missing. On the second book, rabbinic stamps of Rabbi Menachem Mendel the son of the Gaon the Re'em. 


The holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich, Der Heiliger Shamloyer Rov [1863-1944] Av Beis Din of Shamloy. One of the greatest Poskim of his generation. Author of the Lechem Shlomo Shlomo and approx. forty additional works. The grandson of the holy Gaon author of Kol Aryeh who raised him and taught him Torah. A leading disciple of the holy Rav author of Kedushas Yom Tov of Siget and a Chassid of his son the holy Rav Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar. Perished with his community during the Holocaust.


111, [2], 44 leaves. Leaves 65-66 are missing (originally) and are bound as blank leaves. Torn title page, some of it with old tape as well as additional leaves with old tape. In Halachot Ketanot, 2 leaves at the beginning are missing. Minor moth perforations. Aging stains. Dark leaves. Late old binding, complete. Good condition.
