Sefer Givat Shaul, innovations of the month of Elul, by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Shaul Brach of Kashoi. First Edition in the author's lifetime. Copy of the famed holy Rav Rabbi Klonimus Kalman of Piaseczno, author of Chovat Hatalmidim and Hachsharat HaAvreichim. 


Sefer Givat Shaul, innovations of the month of Elul, by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Shaul Brach of Nietra Av Beis Din of Kashoi. 


On the title page, the clear, handwritten signature of the holy Rav of Piaseczno, written with pencil.


The holy Gaon Rabbi Shaul Brach of Neitra Av Beis Din of Kashoi (1865-1940), a leading disciple of Maranan the Maharam Schik and the Chassan Sofer. He also used to travel to the Tzaddikim of his generation of Sanz, Siget and Belz. Was renowned as Av Beis Din of Kashoi and most of the leading rabbis of Hungary studied at the renowned Yeshiva he established there.


The holy Rav Rabbi Klonimus Kalmish Shapiro of Piaseczno [1889-1944] one of the greatest Tzaddikim before the Holocaust, where he perished. Author of the basic books Chovas Hatalmidim, Eish Kodesh (which was published after the Holocaust), Bnei Machshava Tova and others. Was the son of Rabbi Elimelech Shapiro of Grodzinsk. Was renowned as a Gaon and Tzaddik and as a great pedagogue and educator. Established a yeshiva in Warsaw, which he headed alongside being an Admor of hundreds of Chassidim.
