Letter by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Levin of Popline to the Gaon Rabbi Isser Yehuda Unterman
Letter on charity and Divrei Torah by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Levin of Popline to the Gaon Rabbi Isser Yehuda Unterman, Av Beis Din of Liverpool, from 1930.
In his letter, he notes his poverty and distress, asking Rabbi Unterman, the Rav of Liverpool and eventually, the Rav of Tel Aviv and the Chief Rabbi of Israel, to help awaken his relative who lives in Liverpool.
The second part of the letter contains Torah innovations by Rabbi Levin on matters of Yevamot.
