Doresh LeTziyon by the Author of Noda BiYehudah. Dozens of Sharp Glosses Handwritten by Rabbi Yehudah Tevles of Prague
Doresh LeTziyon - derashot and pilpulim by Rabbi Yechezkel Landau, author of Noda BiYehudah. Published by his son, Rabbi Shmuel, with supplements from him. Prague, 1827. First edition.
On the title page: Part I, but no others were printed.
Over forty glosses appear along the leaves of the sefer, some of which are lengthy, handwritten by Rabbi Yehudah Tevles, one of the dayanim in the glorious city of Prague. Some of the glosses were written using sharp language against the author's son's supplements: "This is improper reasoning, there is not even a bit of difficulty here ..." "This reasoning is also nothing ..." "This entire lengthy discussion, is, in my humble opinion, utterly meaningless ..."
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of Rabbi Yehudah Tevles.
