Bernard, whose Old Metairie home was kept by their daughter, Susan Bernard, until her passing. Thus the collections of two generations are combined in one home. Peter Bernard was a notable local attorney, an avid sportsman, and an illustrious Freemason, rising to serve as Grand Master for the Grand Lodge of the State of Louisiana. Peter's wife Jeanne Bernard, was a great hostess and loved fine fashion. Together, they were world travelers, and brought many treasures home. There daughter, Susan, was notably involved in the local Rose Society and a boutique owner offering jewelry and whimsical decor objects. The mix of items in this estate auction is eclectic and there's something for everyone, is all price ranges.
