Auction 180 Part 5 Special Auction

Saturday, Jun 20, 10:00 AM
Manteuffelstr. 27, D-12103 Berlin, Germany

Dear Customers of Historia,

We are delighted to present you with a very special auction. The focus this time is on two large carpet collections as well as a select range of artworks by renowned sculptors and artists from the 19th to the 21st century.

Important note regarding the preview:
The preview will take place – with the exception of the furniture, for which a different location is indicated – not at our premises on Manteuffelstrasse, but at our external warehouse at Thyssenstraße 7–17, 13407  Berlin. Please take note of this differing location.

One of the collections comes from the holdings of Ali Samimi-Fard, one of the oldest and most renowned carpet dealers in Berlin, who is giving up his shop in Charlottenburg after more than 50 years. With this auction, you have the rare opportunity to acquire the finest hand-knotted pieces from a collection assembled over decades.

The offering is complemented by a remarkable collection of artworks by significant sculptors and artists. Among the highlights are a large work by Karl Horst Hödicke, two sculptural nail crosses by Günther Uecker, an etching by Emil Nolde, as well as an iron sculpture by the French sculptor Bernar Venet.

If a preview is not possible for you, we would be happy to send you additional photos and a condition report for the lots of your choice. Please contact us at info@historia.de.

We would be delighted to welcome you as a bidder, whether in person in the saleroom or from home in front of your screen.

We wish you an enjoyable read and a successful auction.
