Pfandhaus Hermann Auctions
Altengraben 40, 56068 Koblenz, Germany
The history of Stephan Hermann's company shows that good things are often characterized by a special maturation period, but are then of the highest quality and durability. Since 1982, the current business of lending and selling jewelry and jewels has steadily developed - in a market where trust and seriousness are 100% important, this is the best indication of the quality of our work.
The initial two-man team of the antique shop in Altenhof, which consisted of Stephan Hermann and the Koblenz original Karl-Heinz Urbild, grew larger with each development step and quickly adapted its business structure to changing market conditions. While technical equipment such as record players, televisions, pictures, mink coats - in short, any valuable asset - were originally mortgaged, the business focus then changed smoothly from pure collateral lending to trading in jewelry and jewels. We have also developed an excellent reputation on modern sales platforms such as Ebay.
As business continued to develop, the original shop soon became too small and changes were needed again. After a nine-year “intermediate stop” in rooms near the Church of Our Lady, the move to the rooms in Koblenz Altengraben, which still exist today, took place. This development step enabled the company's enormous growth and success story, which continues unabated to this day.
In addition to the daily business with our pawn loan customers, an increasingly large number of satisfied customers visit our jewelry store and ensure brisk business in our premises. In addition, several goldsmiths and master goldsmiths now work in our company and produce their own jewelry lines as well as custom-made items at the highest level with inventiveness and innovation.
