Herbert Royle (1870-1958) oil on canvas painting, circa 1940, ”The Manor house, Nes(s)field (Ilkley) in original ornate gilt frame. Please note - The inscription is slightly mis-spelt it should be ”Nesfield” - This was Royale's actual home from 1924. Provenance - Remained in the same private household in Foulridge, Lancs for many years. The oil measures 18 x 15” with the overall framed size being 25 x 21.5”
