Estate Royal Dux Bohemia Porcelain Gentleman Bird - Collectible Royal Dux Bohemia hand-painted porcelain figurine depicting an elegant 18th-century gentleman posed beside a fluted architectural column with a white bird perched on his arm. The figure is finely modeled with a powdered gray wig, ruffled white jabot and cuffs, deep cobalt-blue coat, knee breeches, stockings, and extensive hand-applied gilt detailing. The gentleman stands on an ornate white porcelain base decorated with raised rococo scrollwork highlighted in gold. Additional molded details include the white bird with gilt accents and the column with a decorative object resting across its top. The combination of dark cobalt, crisp white porcelain, and gold trim gives the figure a refined presentation. The underside bears the Royal Dux Bohemia pink triangular mark, a circular “Hand Painted – Made in Czechoslovakia” factory mark, and impressed/painted production numbers including 22191.
