A Decorative Lidded Porcelain Urn with Gold Lustre and Encrusted Rose Decoration - A decorative lidded porcelain urn of classical form, featuring a central body decorated with a wide band of gold lustre. This central section serves as a backdrop for a hand-moulded, applied three-dimensional pink rose with green foliage. The handles, lower body, and domed lid are constructed of white porcelain featuring moulded fluted and foliate scrollwork, much of which is accented with gilding. The urn stands on a square pedestal base with a moulded radiating design. The underside of the base contains a central circular aperture; no factory marks, backstamps, or signatures are visible. Height: approximately 22 cm - 23 cm.
