The items are constructed from a molded composite resin, finished to simulate carved, limed wood. The holder is sculpted in the form of a seated rabbit with deep, rhythmic incisions to represent textured fur, featuring a recessed slot in the back to house the coasters. Each coaster displays a textured wood grain effect on the top surface. An incised mark reading next is located on the lower rear side of the rabbit, near the tail.
