A Collection of Seven Mid-20th Century Pressed Glass Bowls and Serving Dishes - A varied group of seven mid-20th-century pressed glass items, featuring a range of decorative patterns and forms. The collection includes a large circular bowl with a distinctive textured hammered or bubbled exterior finish and a smooth interior. There is a deep circular bowl featuring a large central starburst motif to the base with a scalloped upper rim. The group also contains two rectangular serving dishes, one featuring a linear geometric lattice pattern and the other a classic diamond-point crosshatch design. A square-form bowl exhibits vertical ribbing to the exterior and a prominent starburst pattern to the base. Additionally, there is a circular bowl with an undulating frilled rim and a starburst base, and a small circular dish with a diamond-point exterior pattern exhibiting a slight yellow tint. The items are constructed from pressed glass showing characteristic moulded seams and rounded edges typical of mass-produced decorative glassware of the period. No maker's marks or labels are present.
