Wellington Miniature Gold-Toned Quartz Carriage-Style Desk Clock - A miniature carriage-style desk clock by the maker Wellington. The timepiece is constructed from gold-toned metal with a polished brass-coloured finish. The dial plate features ornate engraved scrollwork decoration surrounding a circular chapter ring with black Roman numeral hour markers. The dial is inscribed with the brand name Wellington in cursive script above the central hands and the word QUARTZ in block capitals below. An oval emblem situated at the twelve o'clock position contains the Latin inscription Tempus Fugit. The clock is fitted with black spade-shaped hour and minute hands and a central seconds hand. The reverse of the case is plain with a circular snap-off cover for the battery compartment. The base of the clock is finished with a protective layer of green felt. Case size: Miniature.
