A clear pressed glass flared vase with a serrated star rim - A clear pressed glass decorative vase of flared form, featuring a multi-pointed serrated rim in a star configuration. The exterior of the body is decorated with moulded vertical fluting that widens as it reaches the rim. The lower portion of the body is encircled by a band of moulded circular thumbprint indentations. The underside of the base features a moulded radial starburst pattern. The glass shows a slight blue-grey tint in the thicker sections, characteristic of soda-lime glass. The rounded edges of the decorative fluting and rim indicate a moulded production process. This design is characteristic of mid-20th-century British pressed glass production. Height: Approximately 21 cm Rim Diameter: Approximately 18 cm.
