A Vintage Bulldog Tools long-handled steel hedge slasher - A vintage long-handled billhook, commonly referred to as a hedge slasher, manufactured by Bulldog Tools in Wigan, England. The tool features a broad, single-edged curved steel blade with a socketed mount. The blade is fitted to a long, tapered hardwood shaft that terminates in a slight rounded knob. Stamped into the face of the blade is the maker mark bulldog followed by the words MADE IN ENGLAND. Estimated overall length: 150cm - 175cm Estimated blade length: 45cm.
