Ballantynes of Walkerburn Polished Pewter 39 Engineer Regiment Eagle Sculpture - Excellent Condition - A polished pewter 39 Engineer Regiment eagle sculpture by Ballantynes of Walkerburn. The piece features a detailed eagle with outspread wings, captured in a dynamic pose while grasping two long-stemmed thistles in its talons. The bird feathers are rendered in high relief, creating a textured surface that contrasts with the smooth, slender stems of the thistles. It is mounted on a textured, rocky-effect base which is cast with the unit designation for the 39 Engineer Regiment of the Royal Engineers.
