UK Pre-Decimal and Early Decimal Mixed Coinage Collection - The lot consists of an assortment of British coinage spanning the early to mid-20th century, including both pre-decimal and early decimal issues. The collection features two large-size 50 new pence coins and several cupronickel 10 and 5 new pence pieces. Pre-decimal coinage includes two one-shilling pieces: one dated 1951 featuring the lion-on-crown English crest, and another dated 1956 featuring the Scottish shield. Also present is a 1942 nickel-brass dodecagonal three-pence coin with the thrift plant reverse. The grouping is completed by a selection of bronze coinage, including large pennies with the 1921 seated Britannia reverse and a stack of smaller decimal new pence coins featuring the crowned portcullis. The pieces are composed of cupronickel, nickel-brass, and bronze, displaying various levels of circulation wear and natural toning.
