This American Gun Co. Knickerbocker 12-gauge shotgun showcases classic craftsmanship, renowned for its robust double-barrel design and utilitarian elegance. Produced by Crescent Firearms for American Gun Co.between the late 19th and early 20th centuries (c. 1893?1930), this model features a break-action mechanism, original hardwood stock, and functional simplicity. A fine example of early 20th-century American gunmaking, it holds appeal for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage firearms. New York numbers matching missing butt pad stock appears repaired.
