A Collection of Wade Ceramics Miniature Glazed Figurines including Whimsies and Whoppas Series - A large collection of Wade Ceramics miniature glazed figurines, including examples from the Whimsies and Whoppas series. The assortment features a diverse range of animal subjects such as domestic pets including dogs, cats, and rabbits, as well as farm animals and exotic wildlife including a giraffe, elephant, turtle, hippopotamus, and camel. Various birds and whimsical creatures are also represented. Human figures are included, notably characters from the Sherwood Forest series. The figurines are made of glazed porcelain with characteristic tonal variations in the finish. Included with the lot are several original cardboard display boxes for Wade Whoppas and a white box for the Sherwood Forest series Friar Tuck figurine.
