An Assortment of Silver and Silver-Plated Spoons - This assortment of spoons comprises a single sterling silver teaspoon and three silver-plated examples. The sterling silver teaspoon features a pointed handle terminal with an engraved monogram. The reverse of the handle is struck with the 925 decimal fineness mark, a square punch containing the letter A, and a leopard's head for the London Assay Office, alongside an indistinct maker's mark. The large silver-plated serving spoon is decorated with a beaded edge pattern and is marked on the reverse H.H & S for Henry Hobson & Son, accompanied by four shield-shaped pseudo-hallmarks. A matching beaded pattern dessert spoon is included, showing worn rectangular punches to the reverse. The collection also includes a dessert spoon with a decorative moulded handle and shaped terminal, marked with individual shield punches for E P N S.
