A Cased Tudor Ware Earthenware Coffee Service for Six - A cased earthenware coffee service for six, produced by Tudor Ware, a brand of Barker Brothers Ltd of Longton, Staffordshire. The set consists of six coffee cups, six matching octagonal saucers, and six metal spoons, all contained within a fitted presentation case. The ceramics feature a cream-coloured body decorated with an intricate blue and yellow-gold scroll and floral pattern in a Chinoiserie style. The cups are designed with distinctive angular handles featuring blue-lined detailing. The saucers are of a clipped-corner octagonal form with a matching border pattern. Hand-painted pattern numbers, which appear to read 3746, are present on the sides of the cups. The underside of the saucers bears a printed backstamp reading Tudor Ware, Longton, Staffs. The service is presented in its original dark blue textured case, featuring a cream ruched fabric lining inside the lid and a black velvet-lined base with fitted inserts.
