A Late 19th or Early 20th-Century Silver-Plated Oval Trinket Box with Red Cabochon - This small, oval-shaped lidded box is crafted from silver-plated white metal. The hinged lid features embossed and chased foliate designs, centred by a circular boss containing a polished red cabochon, possibly coral or paste. The sides are further embellished with engraved scrolling patterns, and the piece is finished with rope-twist borders at the rim of the lid and the base.
