A Moorcroft Pottery Korri Pattern Vase and Original Box - A Moorcroft pottery vase decorated in the Korri pattern, designed by Kerry Goodwin. The earthenware vessel of ovoid form features a flared rim and is decorated with tube-lined red flowers, yellow-tipped buds, and green foliage set against a deep navy blue ground. The neck transitions to a cream-coloured glaze, and the entire piece is finished with a high-gloss lead glaze. The base bears several markings, including an impressed circular Moorcroft mark and a maple leaf date cipher for the year 2000. Hand-painted marks in brown pigment include the copyright symbol, the date 2000, and the initials WM. The vase is accompanied by its original dark blue textured presentation box with gold-toned Moorcroft lettering on the lid. Height: approximately 10cm.
