An 18 ct Gold Seed Pearl and Yellow Metal Floral Wreath Pendant-Brooch weighing 2.70 gm - A circular pendant-brooch designed as a floral wreath, featuring a repeating pattern of six large four-petaled flowers alternating with six smaller five-petaled flowers. The larger flowers exhibit a textured, Florentine-style finish to the petals. Each of the twelve flowers is set with a central white seed pearl. The piece is constructed from a yellow metal, showing a bright finish to the front and heavy surface tarnish and oxidation to the reverse. The reverse is fitted with a pin mechanism featuring a roll-over safety clasp and a fixed pendant bail at the top edge for suspension from a chain. Two small rectangular stamps are present on the reverse of the petals, though the markings are not clearly legible. The design is in the late Victorian or Edwardian style.
