A Vintage 9 ct Gold Carved Shell Cameo Ring in the Mesoamerican Style weighing 3.94 gm - The cameo is carved from a two-toned shell, displaying a white relief profile of a figure wearing an elaborate feathered headdress in the Mesoamerican style, set against a peach-coloured ground. The shell is bezel-set within a yellow metal frame featuring a decorative rope-twist inner border. The mount is designed with split shoulders tapering into a plain, flat-profile shank. A small, rectangular mark is present on the interior of the band; however, it is heavily worn and the characters are illegible.
