The ring is set with a single round cabochon dark stone, which exhibits light-coloured markings on the surface that may indicate an intaglio carving or natural inclusions. The stone is held within a raised, multi-prong crown-style setting. There are no hallmarks or maker's marks visible on the band, and the item is accompanied by a tag stating no marks.  Gross weight approximately 4.15 grams.
