A Late 19th or Early 20th-Century Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Prunus Vase - A Chinese porcelain cabinet vase of elongated baluster form, featuring a waisted neck and a flared rim. The body is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with the prunus or hawthorn pattern, depicting blossoming plum branches reserved against a mottled blue ground representing cracked ice. The base features a double ring mark in underglaze blue, an apocryphal mark in the Kangxi style typical of the late Qing dynasty or Republic period. The foot rim remains unglazed. Height: approximately 15.5 cm.
