A Collection of Seven Dutch Delft-Blauw Hand-Decorated Earthenware Plates - A collection of seven Dutch blue and white glazed earthenware plates, each featuring hand-decorated scenes of traditional rural and maritime life. The monochrome cobalt blue decoration on a white ground depicts various subjects including a craftsman carving wooden clogs, a horse-drawn cart beside a windmill, harbour scenes with masted sailing vessels, and pastoral landscapes with figures and livestock. The set includes plates of varying sizes and rim profiles; three plates feature scalloped or lobed rims, while the others possess plain circular edges. Each piece is marked on the reverse with a circular backstamp reading Handdecorated, Made in Holland, and Delft-Blauw. The central dark blue portion of the mark contains symbols and a faint four-digit number, potentially 1984, which are not clearly legible.
