Binnacle Compass
- A Ship’s Binnacle Compass on a gimbal support in a brass casing with a glass pane for viewing, illuminated by the original oil lamp accessible by a hinged brass door to the side.
With a small carrying handle to the top, but also can be bolted in a stationery position at the base.
Compass made by Observator, Rotterdam.
Circa early 20th century.
Condition: Overall Good with wear and oxidation commensurate to age. Compass interior slightly cloudy, and wear to interior white paint.
