Max Römer Watercolour - - A mixed technique on paper painting by German artist Max Römer (1878-1960) - well known for his paintings of the lifestyle and landscape of the island of Madeira, where he lived part of his life. Painting depicting a street scene with a bull-pulled carriage, in Madeira. Zincograph on paper, hand coloured and detailed with watercolor and gouache - a technique regularly employed by the artist. Signed ”Max Römer” with ”Madeira” and dated 1930. Condition: watercolor in good condition, mount with spotting and discoloration. Not examined out of the frame.
