Two Vintage Chairs - - A pair of Anglo-Indian wedding chairs, early 19th century, completely covered in white alloy metal sheets over wooden core, probaly teak with ornamental rams heads to the sides in cast metal. Curved crest rail terminating in cast metal ram's heads. Sabre legs, trapizodal slip seat in a thin white fabric, reeded frieze bellow. Originally bought in New Delhi by the previous owner. Condition: Used, the fabric of the seats is demaged due to age wear and one of the metal braces connecting one of the ram heads to the crest has come off, needs repair, but structurally good. Dim:65(L)x50(D)x 88(H) cm.
