Daniel Kafri Bronze - - A large bronze Sculpture by renown artist Daniel Kafri (1945-2024), one of the most famous and valued sculptors in the world of Jewish Art. Titled ”King David”, depicting the character from the Bible leaning backwards on a seat, one leg crossed and playing his harp. Raised on a pink marble plinth. Daniel Kafri was born on the last day of WWII in Czechoslovakia, and then immigrated to Israel four years later with his family where he later studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and design in Jerusalem. Kafri’s sculptures seek to integrate materials with spiritual ideas – to celebrate man’s resilience and faith, harmony and love through both form and matter. Kafri devoted his life to the creation of works based on Jewish history, becoming a highly acclaimed international artist with many of his works in high profile public sites in Israel and exhibited in private collections worldwide.
