Bronze Candlestick - - A rare and antique F.Barbedienne bronze candlestick, French made, circa mid 19th century, makers mark to the plinth. This piece displays a beautiful pedestal form, ornamented throughout with flowers in relief raised by a square plinth on the base. Ferdinand Barbedienne (6 August 1810 – 21 March 1892) was a French metalworker and manufacturer, who was well known as a bronze founder. Following Barbedienne's death in 1892, the firm was carried on by his nephew Gustave Leblanc until 1952. Condition: Used\good, clean and well kept, no broken pieces, overall very good.
