Antique Biscuit Barrel - - A rare & highly collectible antique ceramic biscuit barrel, the round shape and medium size make it a versatile piece. Decorated in a blue and white glaze with a Japanese influence, finished with a gilt rim to the base. By makers Taylor & Tunnicliff (1867 - 1898) Renowned for producing quality & speciality ceramics, a real collectors piece rich in history. Stamped to the bottom with the makers logo. Circa : Late 19th century. Condition : Used, wear commensurate with age to the outside and lid, inside appears in good clean condition, overall good. Dim : 18cm (H)
