Antique Buffet - - A unique 18th century oak buffet. The top boasts a slightly protruding cornice, with a carved repetitive pattern. Two rounded column like structures flank the upper portion, providing a sense of depth & architectural detail. A central door opens to reveal a hidden storage space, decorated with ornate floral carvings, with fixed panels to each side with geometric designs. The lower storage area consists of 2 doors, behind which an abundance of storage shelving, each door displays vertical panels & a frieze above with raised circular floral carvings. The exceptional quality and style of the craftsmanship in this piece, suggests an influence of Gothic or Tudor Style. Complete with the original iron door furniture, locks and 1 key which can be utilized in all 3 locks.
