Typewriter - - A vintage Continental typewriter, produced in Germany by Wanderer-Werke, a producer of high quality typewriters in the early to mid 20th century, complete with serial number to the front and base. Designed for German-speaking regions with QWERTZ keyboard. it is made primarily of black-painted metal, with round, raised keys featuring white lettering. The red and gold ”Ch. Perrier – Lausanne” label on the side suggests it was distributed or sold in Switzerland. This model appears to be from the 1920s–1930s, a period when Continental typewriters were widely used and known for their precision, durability, and smooth mechanical operation, its manually operated with carriage return lever, platen roller and type bars.
