Artisan Shelving Unit - - A unique bespokely made 2 tiered shelving unit, hand crafted by a skilled carpenter using olive wood. Each piece secured in place using the tenon joint technique an ancient woodworking method where a tenon fits snugly into a cavity (mortise) and finally further wooden pegs secure the piece preventing it loosening over time. This method is extremely stable, & does not rely on modern fasteners like screws & nails making it a hallmark of traditional carpentry craftsmanship, and a sign of the highest quality of products.
