Antique Delft Tureen - - A beautiful reproduction of an antique Delft lidded tureen. The original dates to the 18th century after Adriaen Kocks. This is a fine example encompassing costal scenes and floral notes decorated in the highly recognisable blue and white glaze. The lid boasts a finial depicting a putti, with similar decoration, and is elevated on 4 feet giving the piece an added elegance and presence. Marked to the bottom with the Adriaen Kocks stamp, plus an additional mark from the reproducer. Origin : Holland. Maker : Delft. Circa : 19th century.
