Chinese Bar - - A vintage Chinese bar, mid 20th century, with black lacquered wood. The cabinet is intricately decorated with polychrome mother-of-pearl inlays depicting traditional Chinese figures in flowing robes, surrounded by mountainous landscapes, trees, and architectural elements. The cabinet is a functional bar with various compartments. Top section opens to reveal a scene of noblewomen playing music and serving drinks. This section includes circular slots that can securely hold bottles or glasses. Swing-out side doors provide storage racks for bottles, with each side featuring shelves to keep them upright. Drop-down front expands the usable surface, perfect for mixing or serving drinks. Condition: Used/fair, presents some heat damage to the top as well as faults and chips to the paint throughout.
