With a clever use of colour and light enhancement truly bringing this superb piece to life. By acclaimed Belgian born artist Francois-Etienne Musin (1820 - 1888) Born in Ostend he specialised in seascapes & scenes of coastal landscapes, rivers and harbours. Framed in an elaborate heavily carved frame, with raised detail and decorated in a gold colour. Signed to the lower right corner. Complete with light above to show this piece of art at its very best.
