Rococo Revival Chair - - An antique Rococo Revival side chair, circa mid-19th century. Displays a beautifully Intricate carved wood backrest with sinuous, organic curves and a pierced design, which are hallmark traits of the Rococo Revival aesthetic. Cabriole legs with scroll feet on the base and an upholstered seat with floral needlepoint with soft analog colors, all common features in 18th and 19th-century French furniture. Condition: Used/good, displays some liquid staining to the seat along with some general wear commensurate with age, backrest presents previous modern repairs, also presents historic wood worm demage (treated April 2025).
