Vintage Desk - - A classic vintage roll top desk in mixed woods. A type of desk characterized by its flexible tambour (slated wooden) cover, that can be rolled down to conceal the contents. Consists of 2 pedestals with 3 drawers above each bank of drawers a writing slope, and a larger central drawer above the kneehole space for seating. These types of desks were especially popular in the late 19th and early 20th century periods, with many reproductions there after, this particular example dates to the mid 20th century and is admired not only for its practicality but also its timeless nostalgic appeal.
