Designer Lamp - - A rare antique chromed metal Pirouette desk lamp. The Pirouette model based on the highly stylish design of the Art Deco period was created by Iconic French designer Jean Chavanis. With adjustable rod and swivel shade for adjusting lighting according to the mood. The lampshade itself a work of art displaying sandblasted glass plates decorated with clouds and rays, giving it a decidedly aeronautical appearance. Circa : 1930. Condition : Used, tested and working, minor surface rust, overall very good. Dim : 56cm (H) max.
