By Dutch artist Guillaume Corneille Van Beverloo (1922 - 2010) Better known under his pseudonym Corneille (the French word for crow) Studied art at the Academy Of Art In Amsterdam, he was one of the founders of the reflex movement in 1948. He was also a founder of the Cobra movement which had a huge influence on Scandinavian art. His works are usually highly colourful and intensely abstract, like the piece on offer today.
